Bulgarian state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz has proposed a lower wholesale natural gas price for June. The price for June should be 11.5% lower than the price approved for May.
The company said that the price for June should be around 35 euros/MWh, compared to 39.6 euros/MWh in May. Last month, wholesale gas price decreased 21% compared to April.
Over a third of Bulgaria’s gas consumption needs of about 1 billion cubic meters per year have been met by pipeline natural gas and regasified LNG from terminals in Greece and Turkey delivered via the Greece-Bulgaria interconnection.
