Bulgaria: Bulgargaz proposed a 7.7% lower gas price for January

Bulgargaz has proposed to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) the natural gas price for January of 80.77 BGN (around 41.3 euros) per MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise and VAT, the state-owned company said. The proposed price is 7.69% lower than the December price.

The EWRC approved a natural gas price for December of 87.50 BGN per MWh.

At the end of December, the EWRC should hold an open meeting to discuss the proposal. By January 1, the proposal will be updated by Bulgargaz and will enter into force after a decision of the EWRC.
