Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Petar Djokic met with the delegation of the Czech company Mavel and discussed the possibilities of investing in energy projects in RS.
Minister Djokic said that his Ministry is prepared to provide strong support to all investors and that Mavel is welcome to RS not only as a supplier of turbines and other energy equipment, but also as a partner with extensive experience in energy related projects.
He explained that the possibilities of cooperation related to the implementation of energy projects was discussed at the meeting with Mavel representatives, as well as securing financing through the Czech Export Bank, noting that the bank confirmed its readiness to finance up to 250 million euros worth energy projects in RS. It was also agreed that Mavel and power utility ERS should establish teams that will work on the implementation of these projects.
