Electricity production in Albania in the second quarter of 2023 reached 2,269 GWh, which is 38% higher compared to the same period last year (1,657 GWh), according to the data published by the Albanian Institute of Statistics.
The country’s electricity exports rose by 89% year-on-year in the April-June 2023 period and amounted to 786 GWh, while electricity imports dropped to 355 GWh from last year’s 664 GWh.
