Slovenia: Axpo and Kolektor signed the first PPA in Slovenia

Renewable energy producer and trader Axpo and Slovenian industrial products supplier Kolektor signed a ten-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for renewable energy, Axpo said in a statement.

Under the first ever financial corporate PPA in Slovenia, Axpo will hedge the long-term fixed price for up to 0.2 TWh of energy for Kolektor Mobility’s facility in the country, which produces components and systems for electric vehicles, according to the statement.

Kolektor sETup will ensure the physical supply of energy under the agreement.

Axpo signed several important deals in Southeastern Europe in 2023, including the long-term wind power PPAs in Croatia and Serbia, adding 216 MW to the company’s regional renewable energy portfolio.
