Today used Atlas Max RTL- presents improved version of the remote terminal Atlas Max, the founder of this generation, which was a real turning point in the half century long history of existence of this system, by entering the number of innovations that have led to breakthroughs in new areas of application.
“Elektromreza Srbije” for remote control management and monitoring uses the computer systems developed in the Belgrade Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, where they are manufactured. These modern Atlas Max systems, based on the Linux platform, have the hardware and software support for remote access to configuration and monitoring functions (monitoring) by the users.
At last year conference, held on the May, 32, of the Serbian National Committee of CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric Systems), the paper was submitted – “Software tools for automated configuration of Max Atlas distributed control systems”, whose authors are graduated engineers Dragana Glisic, Vladimir Nesic Nikola Jevtovic, Milos Stankovic and PgD Bozidar Levi, all from the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”. Software tools for auto configuration are topic of this paper, along with the reasons for the introduction of certain functionalities in order to short total time required for system configuration. Due to the growing spread of modern infrastructure for the information transmission in distributed control systems, the presence of the people engaged in the activities of system configuration on the field, is additionally reduced.
