Serbian power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije recorded a profit of 114 billion dinars (972.7 million euros) in 2023, the government said.
This is a historic financial result, and, in addition to the improved financial situation, investments have started to be realised more efficiently, energy minister Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said in a press release last week.
The company closed 2022 with a consolidated net loss of 73 billion dinars, compared with a loss of 16 billion dinars a year earlier, according to its website.
