Serbia: Egesa Enerji launches first solar projects with 8.6 MW capacity

Turkish company Egesa Enerji has begun work on two solar power plant projects in Serbia’s Vojvodina province, in the towns of Aradac and Odzaci. The total installed capacity will be 8.6 MW—4.2 MW in Aradac and 4.4 MW in Odzaci.

Local firm Solarna Energija Buducnosti will supply the necessary solar equipment, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, and system components. Construction contracts have been signed with a consortium that includes BEY HAN, a company experienced in delivering over 250 MW of solar capacity in Turkey.

Egesa Enerji, as the main investor and project developer, is entering the Serbian renewable energy market for the first time. The consortium aims to deliver fully operational plants ready for grid connection and commercial use.

This marks Egesa Enerji’s expansion beyond Turkey and the United States, adding Serbia to its growing portfolio in the global green energy sector.
