Romania: PPC will to acquire 84 MW wind farm

The renewables subsidiary of Greek company Public Power Corporation signed an agreement with Russian oil company Lukoil to acquire the operator of 84 MW wind farm in Romania.

PPC Renewables said in a statement that it will acquire Romanian company Land Power, the owner and the operator of 84 MW wind farm located in the Dorobantu region in southeastern Romania. The wind farm’s annual electricity generation is 200 GWh. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to be finalized in the last quarter of this year.
