Alstom operates in Romania on 8 major projects, including the contract signed with Metrorex 2004, which is valid for 15 years, and it includes 4 installation at the plant Rovinari, it was announced in the middle of last week at a press conference by Gilbert Porcherot, President of Alstom in Romania.
Among the main current Romanian Alstom Projects are the works on the installation of desulphurization in the unit 4 of the power plant Rovinari, works on the installation of desulphurization of units 1 and 2 of the power plant Craiova II, as well as the contract of the maintenance of the station in Bucharest, which was signed with the Romanian company Metrorex in 2004, then the contract with the CFR for the segment Coslariu-Micasasa (electrification, power supply, telecom), and the segment- Simeria-Vintu de Jos (electrification, telecom, passenger information system) including the segment route of 614 km – Curtici (electrification, signaling).
