After the technical control and verification of fulfillment of certain technical criteria, the Commission for system operation within ENTSO-E concluded that the Montenegrin operator of electricity transmission system CGES performs its operation in emergency situations in a manner fully compliant with 20 out of 21 prescribed EU standards.
Also, the Commission concluded that the appliance of this one remaining standard is incomplete, but sufficient enough to comply with the procedures prescribed in emergency situations in the European Union.
In addition to the very highest marks of compliance, the Commission pointed out that CGES was very well prepared for the actual auditing.
Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP) is a program of the ENTSO-E association (European Network of Transmission System Operators) which aims to constantly evaluates compliance with the standards of the association through the annual process of self-assessment and annual process of mandatory audits, which is carried out periodically at random transmission system operators.
Sub-Group Compliance, Monitoring and Enforcement (SG CME) is responsible for the implementation of the aforementioned process.
