Greece, Surplus in the RES special account will reach 244 million euros

Greek RES market operator DAPEEP estimates that the surplus in the RES special account will reach 243.7 million euros by the end of the year.

If a green tax on diesel is added, plus a 70 million euros safety reserve, the amount would reach over 335 million euros.

The projection is based on the data until July, with the price of CO2 emissions expected to continue to rise until the end of the year.
