The entire amount of 320,232 guarantees of origin was sold on four separate auctions on guarantees of origin auctions for electricity from incentivized producers, that was held on 21 July 2020.
Auctions were organized as four parallel auctions, in addition to guarantees of origin from wind farms, those from biomass were also sold through CROPEX’s IT trading platform:
– a total of 142,823 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in May and June 2020) at a price of 0.86 euros/GO;
– a total of 97,861 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date older from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in May and June 2020) at a price of 0.16 euros/GO;
– a total of 73,197 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in May and June 2020) at a price of 1.52 euros/GO;
– a total of 6,351 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date older from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in the first half of 2020) at a price of 0.14 euros/GO.
