Bulgaria: Energo-Pro invested 18 million euros in distribution network upgrades

Electrodistribution North (ERP Nort), a subsidiary of Energo-Pro Varna, invested 18 million euros in the first nine months in upgrading the network in Bulagaria’s northeastern region.

The company said in a statement that a part of that amount was allocated to upgrading the power transmission system and adding new clients. The company added that ERP North has finished preparing the regional network for the autumn-winter season.

As part of ensuring the security of the electricity supply, it repaired 475 kilometres of low-voltage networks, installed 2,343 new medium and low-voltage poles and replaced 8,760 medium-voltage insulators.
