Bulgaria: Average DAM price reached 84.9 euros/MWh in June

The average baseload price on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX)  in June reached 84.86 euros/MWh. That is 3% lower compared to May (87.36 euros/MWh). the average peak price was 74.31 euros/MWh.

On the intraday market, 153,382 MWh was traded, with an average weighted price of 91.11 euros/MWh.

On the day-ahead market, 2,022,900 MWh of electricity was traded in June. That is 4% less compared to the previous month. The average daily traded volume in June amounted to 67,430 MWh. Traded volume in June 2023 was 18.5 % lower compared to the same month last year.
