Croatia: Average DAM price in April – 105.4 euros/MWh

A total volume of 567,267 MWh of electricity was traded on the Croatian energy exchange CROPEX in April 2023, which is 34% less than in March. Trade volume on the day-ahead and intraday markets amounted to 451,786 MWh and 115,481 MWh, respectively. Traded volume in April was 1% higher than volume in the same month 2022.

The average daily base price on the day-ahead market in April reached 105.38 euros/MWh, which is 6% lower than in March, while the average peak price reached 99.98 euros/ MWh, 13% lower compared to the previous month.

The average price on the intraday market was 104.8 euros/MWh, 7% lower compared to March.
