Hungary, Average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the HUPX amounted to 391.35 euros/MWh in September

The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 391.35 euros/MWh in September 2022, which is 21 % lower compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 495.29 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 422.37 euros/MWh in September, 17 % lower compared to August peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.07 million MWh, approximately the same as in August and 11.2 % less than in September 2021 (2.33 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in September amounted to 69,000 MWh.

Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 370,326 MWh in September 2022, which is 2 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 12,344 MWh.
