Slovenia: Traded electricity on BSP in September

In September 2020 on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool, a total of 572,429 MWh of electricity was traded which is a 2.2 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 19,081 MWh/day. Traded volume was 24.3 % lower compared to September 2019. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in September amounted to 45.86 euros/MWh, which is a 22 % increase compared to August, while average euro-peak price reached 49.97 euros/MWh (+ 25.2 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 116,068 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in September 2019, of which 88,415 on the continuous market (- 6 %), with an average price of 45.04 euros/MWh (MI2) and 64.65 euros/MWh (MI6).
