SEE region: Spot prices range from 78 to 95 euros per MWh on Monday

On Monday, August 14, the spot prices of electricity in Southeast Europe rose from 41 percent in Serbia to 79 percent in Greece compared to Sunday.

The lowest electricity price in the region on Monday was recorded in Serbia – 77.77 euros per MWh.

In other regional markets, wholesale electricity prices were at least 10 euros above this level. The price reached 88.42 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania, 95.18 euros per MWh in Greece, 88.91 euros per MWh in Croatia, 98.73 euros per MWh in Slovenia and 90.68 euros per MWh in Hungary.

On Sunday, spot prices across the region ranged from 53 to 56 euros per MWh. The German market is the most expensive European market on Monday, at 103.37 euros per MWh, which is about 60% more than the previous day.
