SEE region: Day-ahead gas price reached 31.6 euros per MWh on Sunday

The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on the weekend (January 6-7, 2024) amounted to 31.6 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 28.9 to 31.6 euros per MWh.

On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on January 8 and the price amounted to 33.9 euros per MWh.

Front-month futures on the ICE market decreased by 7.7% on Monday, at 11:30, to 31.9 euros per MWh, while the price for the second quarter of 2024 was 31.815 euros per MWh. CAL 25 reached 34.225 euros per MWh.
