SEE region: Day-ahead gas price decreased to 37 euros per MWh on Sunday

The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on December 10 amounted to 36.97 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 37.4 to 40.2 euros per MWh.

On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on December 8 and the price amounted from 34.8 to 35.7 euros per MWh.

January futures on the TTF gas hub increased by 0.6% on Friday to 38.84 euros per MWh, while the price for the first quarter of 2024 was 39.2 euros per MWh. CAL 24 reached 39.5 euros per MWh, compared to 44.315 euros per MWh the previous Friday.
