Romania, Romgaz amounted to 23.83 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first nine months of 2022

Hydrocarbon output of Romanian natural gas producer Romgaz amounted to 23.83 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first nine months of 2022, which is 0.67 % less compared to the same period last year.

The amount of extracted gas dropped by 0.51 % and amounted to 23.7 million barrels of oil equivalent. Gas from domestic production delivered to the market dropped by 6.22 % year- on-year to 3.52 billion cubic meters in the January -September 2022 period.

Electricity generation in the first nine months od 2022 totaled 839.5 GWh, which is almost doubled compared to the same period in 2021.

In the third quarter alone, hydrocarbon production amounted to 7.58 million barrels of oil equivalent, which is 1.42 % lower compared to Q3 2021, while the amount of extracted natural gas was 1.172 billion cubic meters (- 1.25 %). Condensate production decreased by 22.95 % to 5.03 million tons of oil equivalent, while electricity generation reached 294.8 GWh, a 32.2 % increase compared to Q3 2021.
