A working meeting between the managements of Montenegrin state-owned power utility EPCG and its Republic of Srpska (RS) counterpart ERS took place in Niksic, where the possibility of using the water of the Trebisnjica river for energy purposes was discussed.
Since there is already certain level of project documentation in existence, EPCG launched an initiative for updating the mentioned documentation for the project for the construction of hydropower plant Sutorina.
The potential for the construction of facilities for the production of electricity from renewable sources is huge, however, some of the projects will only become available through mutual cooperation, it was concluded at the meeting.
