Hungary, The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the HUPX amounted to 146.21 euros/MWh in February

The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 146.21 euros/MWh in February 2023 , which is 2 % lower compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 148.69 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 155.43 euros/MWh in February, 11 % lower compared to January peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.17 million MWh, 8 % less compared to January (2.35 million MWh) and 21.4 % less than in February 2022 (2.76 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in February amounted to 77,556 MWh.

Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 367,983 MWh in February 2023, which is 10 % less compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 13,142 MWh.
