Hungary: Gas price on CEEGEX – 41 euros/ MWh on Tuesday

The average spot price on the Day-Ahead market of the Hungarian gas exchange CEEGEX fell to 41.12 euros/MWh on April 25. That is the lowest level in the previous month. On Monday, the spot price was 43.77 euros/MWh.

In the previous week, the highest price was recorded on April 20 – 45.95 euros/ MWh.

On the Within-Day segment, the last transactions on CEEGEX were recorded on April 24, at a price of 39.05 euros/MWh. On the previous day, gas was traded in the range of 42.94 to 45 euros/MWh.

On the TTF market, the price for May 2023 on Tuesday morning amounted to 39.72 euros/ MWh, and for the third quarter 41.7 euros/MWh.
