Hungary:  Average price on HUPX DAM 106.7 euros/MWh in April

The average price of electricity on the day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 106.71 euros/MWh in April 2023, which is 6% lower compared to March (113.3 euros/MWh).

The average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 101.19 euros/MWh in April, 14% lower than the March peak price.

Traded volume on the day ahead market reached 1.96 million MWh, 10% less compared to March (2.34 million MWh) and 16% less than in April 2022 (2.76 million MWh). The average daily traded volume in April amounted to 65,529 MWh.

Total traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 494,686 MWh in April 2023, 6% more than in the previous month.

The average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 16,490 MWh. The average price for the hourly product amounted to 103.41 euros/ MWh in April, 11% less compared to the previous month.
