FBiH: EIA study for Poklecani wind farm enters public consultation

The Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Protection of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has put an environmental impact assessment study for wind farm Poklecani for public debate until 13 July.

In 2022, FBiH Government approved a proposal to seek loans from the European Investment Bank and German development bank KfW totalling 150 million euros. The funds will be used to finance the construction of the Poklecani wind farm.

Last year, power utility EP HZHB relaunched a tender for the main project design of the Poklecani wind farm worth around 360,000 euros. The tender was originally launched in October 2021.
