Croatia, Results of May/June guarantees of origin auctions

On guarantees of origin auctions for electricity from incentivized producers, that was held on 22 July 2021, the entire amount of 267,051 guarantees of origin was sold on four separate auctions.
Auctions were organized as four parallel auctions, in addition to guarantees of origin from wind farms on two auctions, those from biomass were also sold on two auctions through CROPEX’s IT trading platform:

– a total of 113,363 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in May/June 2021) at a price of 0.49 euros/GO;
– a total of 71,789 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date older from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in May/June 2021) at a price of 0.43 euros/GO;
– a total of 48,103 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 with installed capacity less than 5 MW (electricity produced in May/June 2021) at a price of 3.25 euros/GO, which represents the highest price of the guarantee of origin achieved since the beginning of the organization of GOs auctions in August 2019;
– a total of 33,796 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 with installed capacity greater than 5 MW (electricity produced in May/June 2021) at a price of 0.45 euros/GO.

12 participants participated in the GO auctions, which is the largest number of participants in the
auctions of guarantees of origin since the beginning of the organization of auctions in August 2019.
