Croatia: HROTE, ENNA and CROPEX announce wind power guarantee of origin auctions for May 20, 2025

HROTE, ENNA, and CROPEX have announced upcoming auctions for Guarantees of Origin (GOs) to be held on May 20, 2025. The auctions will be conducted through CROPEX’s IT trading platform and will feature GOs from electricity generated by wind power plants.

HROTE will offer a total of 226,961 Guarantees of Origin for electricity produced under the incentive system during the first quarter of 2025.

ENNA will auction 34,552 Guarantees of Origin for wind-generated electricity. The sale will include:

  • GOs for electricity produced in the first quarter of 2025,
  • GOs for electricity produced in both the first quarter and April 2025.

These auctions provide market participants with the opportunity to purchase certified proof of renewable electricity generation, supporting the development of green energy and meeting environmental goals.
