Bulgaria: Small-scale solar power plant to be commissioned by National-7 in May

CEZ Bulgaria announced that its subsidiary CEZ ESCO has completed the construction of 307 kW solar power plant for local wood pellet producer National-7, adding that the plant should be commissioned in May.

The plant, located in Skravena village near Botevgrad, will produced about 400 MWh of electricity, which will be used for National-7 consumption, thus reducing the company’s energy costs. The plant is is based on high-performance, single-crystal photovoltaic modules and components from reputable manufacturers.

In the three years since its establishment, CEZ ESCO Bulgaria has worked on 53 projects, of which 20 for the construction of solar parks with a total capacity of 3.4 MW.
