Bulgaria, A total of 2,277,190 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the IBEX in November

A total of 2,277,190 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in November 2022, which is 30.7 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in November amounted to 75,906.4 MWh. Traded volume in November 2022 was 1.8 % higher compared to the same month last year.

The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in November amounted to 220.14 euros/ MWh, which is 6.9 % higher compared to October (205.95 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 258.47 euros/MWh (+ 14.9 %). There were a total of 97 registered participants on the IBEX day -ahead market, same as in the previous month.

Regarding intraday market, a total of 124,503.8 MWh (+ 7.2 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 211.48 euros/MWh (+ 1.3 %).
