Bulgaria, 2,475,897.8 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the IBEX in June

A total of 2,475,897.8 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in June 2022, which is 19.5 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in June amounted to 82,529.9 MWh. Traded volume in June 2022 was 25.3 % higher compared to the same month last year.

The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in June amounted to 222.87 euros/MWh, which is 10.5 % higher compared to May (201.77 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 220.41 euros/MWh (+ 13.9 %). There were a total of 88 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, the same as in the previous month.

Regarding intraday market, a total of 82,025.7 MWh (- 5.9 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 219.94 euros/MWh (+ 17.7 %).
