Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gross electricity production 730 GWh in March

Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in March 2022 amounted to 730 GWh, while in the same month in 2021 it was recorded 918 GWh, according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

In the total gross production of electricity, hydroelectric power plants participated with 29.9%, thermal power plants with 63.3%, and wind power plants with 6.8%.

The production of brown coal in FBiH in March this year amounted to 331,918 tons, and in the same month in 2021, 367,789 tons.

Lignite production in FBiH in March 2022 amounted to 127,447 tons, and in March 2021 to 145,111 tons.

Out of the total import of oil products, the most imported was diesel fuel – 69,688 tons, followed by unleaded motor gasoline with 10,154 tons.
