BiH: Elektroprijenos to invest 210 million euros in 2024

Elektroprijenos BiH will invest more than 210  million euros in 2024 in reconstruction of existing transformer stations and transmission lines, as well as several significant projects.

At the General Assembly of Shareholders of Elektroprenos BiH, the investment plan and business plan for the next three-year period were unanimously adopted.

The installation of voltage chokes is prioritized as the voltage is extremely high due to low consumption in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 45 million euros allocated for this purpose, Director Mato Zaric said. Telecommunications rank second, where complete equipment replacement is necessary, and thirdly, investment in the transmission network is needed to accommodate all the electricity from renewable sources.
