Albania: Electricity production in Q1 2021

Electricity production in Albania in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 3,344 GWh, which is more than double compared to the same period last year (1,546 GWh), according to the data published by Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT).

The country’s electricity exports rose in the January-March 2021 period and amounted to 1,147 GWh, compared to 346 GWh in the same period in 2020, while electricity imports dropped to just 99 GWh from last year’s 917 GWh.
