Croatia: Milestone achieved as LNG Croatia completes final inspection of new regasification module

LNG Croatia’s completion of the final inspection of the new regasification module is a key development for both the company and the broader energy sector in the region. The increase in capacity at the Croatian LNG terminal will contribute to energy security, especially given the global shifts in energy markets and the need for reliable natural gas infrastructure.

It’s interesting to note that the module was manufactured at CIMC’s shipyard in Nantong, China, highlighting the global nature of the project. The expertise of Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering in producing such equipment will likely ensure high standards for the regasification unit, which is vital for the next steps in installation and commissioning.

How do you think this project will impact energy dynamics in the region, especially considering the broader energy transition goals across Europe?
