Europe: Wind energy production increased in Germany, Spain and Italy in week 25

According to AleaSoft Energy Forecasting, in the fourth week of June, wind energy production increased in the German, Spanish and Italian markets compared to the previous week. The German market reached the largest increase, which was 7.6%, followed by a 4.9% increase in the Spanish market. The Italian market registered an increase of 0.8%.

On the other hand, the Portuguese and French markets continued their downward trend for the second consecutive week. On this occasion, declines were 27% in the Portuguese market and 23% in the French market.

According to AleaSoft Energy Forecasting’s wind energy production forecasts, in the first week of July, production using this technology will increase across the board in the analyzed European electricity markets.
