BiH: Rudis and NGA Insaat to build HPP Mrsovo

Slovenian company Rudis and Turkish NGA Insaat signed an agreement for the cooperation on the construction of a 37.3 MW hydropower plant Mrsovo on the river Lim in the Republic of Srpska.

The value of this investment is 125 million euros and this is one of the largest projects in the energy sector in RS.

Comsar Energy Hydro signed a contract in November 2022 with Turkish company NGA Insaat for the construction of HPP Mrsovo valued at 98 million euros, without VAT. Comsar Energy Hydro, holding the concession for the plant’s construction, obtained technical documentation, including the conceptual design and feasibility study with environmental protection elements.

In December 2022, the company ERS-Renewable Energy Sources, a subsidiary of state-owned utility ERS, signed an agreement to acquire 100% ownership of Comsar Energy Hydro.
