North Macedonia: ESM inked a 3.4 million euro deal for KOGEL’s modernization

Macedonian power utility ESM has signed a contract worth 3.4 million euros with local construction equipment supplier Spektartermo for the modernization of the thermal part of the KOGEL cogeneration plant.

ESM said in a statement that the contract envisages the installation of an SCR technology for the purification of exhaust gases and reduction of pollution.

Gas-fired power plant KOGEL has 10 gas engines with a total electricity output of 30 MW.
