Croatia: Succesfull auctions for guarantees of origin

On Guarantees of Origin auctions for electricity produced from 1.1.2023 to 31.8.2023, which were held on October 4, 2023, the amount of 58,295 Guarantees of Origin offered by ENNA Opskrba d.o.o. and ENERGOVIA EOOD was sold in eight separate auctions.

GOs auctions were organised as eight parallel auctions: GOs from wind, biomass, and biogas were sold on one auction through CROPEX’s IT trading platform.

A total of 5,853 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the biogas power plants with a commissioning date from April 2012 to May 2019 whose installed capacity is less than 3 MW (electricity produced in July and August) at a price of 4.61 EUR/GO.

A total of 14,802 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the biogas power plants with a commissioning date from December 2015 to March 2022 whose installed capacity is less than 3 MW (electricity produced in Q2/2023) at a price of 4.61 EUR/GO.

A total of 259 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the biogas power plants with a commissioning date of 01-2017 whose installed capacity is less than 3 MW (electricity produced in March 2023) at a price of 4.61EUR/GO.

A total of 4,050 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the biomass power plants with a commissioning date of 09-2011 whose installed capacity is less than 5 MW (electricity produced in July and August) at a price of 4.78 EUR/GO.

A total of 6,027 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the biomass power plants with a commissioning date from 2009–2011 whose installed capacity is less than 5 MW (electricity produced in Q2/2023) at a price of 4.78 EUR/GO.

A total of 16,921 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the wind power plants with a commissioning date from 09/2010 to 02/2012 (electricity produced in July and August 2023) at a price of 4.78 EUR/GO.

A total of 10,383 GOs were sold at the Guarantees of Origin auction from the wind power plants with a commissioning date from 09/2010 to 02/2012 (electricity produced in Q2 2023) at a price of 4.73 EUR/GO.

At the GOs auction from a small hydropower plant (owned by ENERGOVIA EOOD) with a commissioning date of 03/2015 (electricity produced from 1.1.2023 to 31.8.2023), there were no submitted bids.
