Croatia: CROPEX to sell Guarantees of Origin from solar and hydro energy

CROPEX announced that it has signed an agreement with Energovia EOOD for the organization of the auctions for the sale of Guarantees of Origin owned by Energovia EOOD.Pursuant to the agreed cooperation between Energovia EOOD and CROPEX, the subject Guarantees of Origin will be sold at Auctions of Guarantees of Origin organized by CROPEX through CROPEX’s IT trading platform for holding Auctions of Guarantees of Origin.

Through CROPEX, Energovia EOOD plans to sell Guarantees of Origin from wind power plants, as well as solar and hydro power plants, which will be the first time that solar and hydro technology are offered on the CROPEX Guarantee of Origin market alongside the already existing wind, biomass and biogas technologies.

In accordance with the above, Energovia EOODand CROPEX announce the holding of the first auction of Guarantees of Origin, which will be held on 4th October 2023, at which 1,762 Guarantees of Origin from the Pavlikeni hydro power plant will be sold:Auction for Guarantees of Origin from a small hydro power plant with the commissioning date on 11th March 2015 (electricity produced from January 2023 to August 2023).
