Croatia: Average price on CROPEX DAM – 96 euros/MWh in August

The trade volume on the Croatian energy exchange CROPEX reached 722,727 MWh in August. That is 0.5% less than in July.

In August, 592,022 MWh were traded on the day-ahead market and 130,704.8 MWh on the intraday market.

Traded volume in August 2023 was 58.5% higher compared to the same month last year.

The average daily base price on the day-ahead market in August amounted to 96.11 euros/MWh, which is 4% higher than in the previous month, while the average euro-peak price reached 89.97 euros/MWh, around 7% higher compared to the previous month.

The average price on the intraday market was 97.59 euros/MWh, 4% higher compared to July.

There are 29 participants on the CROPEX day-ahead market (one more compared to July), while 24 have been active on the intraday market as well.
