Romania, Nofar Energy buys project of largest PV park in country and allocates 300m euros for investment over next two years

Nofar Energy, a company specializing in the development, management and storage of energy produced in photovoltaic and wind power plants, recently signed a contract to purchase a photovoltaic project in Iepuresti, Giurgiu County. The company announces that the project will be ready for construction in the first half of next year.

Nofar Energy, a company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, announced that the future PV power plant has a capacity of 169 MWp, and will probably be expanded to 400 MWp, depending on the technical conditions for connection to the network.

Nofar will allocate over 300 million for investments in the next two years. In the first phase of the Iepuresti project (169 MWp), it will invest over 130 million euros, while the investment in the photovoltaic project Ratesti (155 MWp), which should be launched in 2023, is worth more than 98 million euros.

Also, the company has already prepared additional funds for the purchase of new projects and land.

The company’s goal is to purchase and develop projects with a total installed capacity of 1 GW.
