Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gross electricity production in FBiH in October amounted to 828 GWh

Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in October 2021 amounted to 828 GWh, which is by 26.2 % higher compared to October last year, when it amounted to 656 GWh.

Net electricity production amounted to 735 GWh, of which 204 GWh (27.8 %) was produced in hydropower plants, 506 GWh (68.8 %) was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 25 GWh. In October, electricity imports amounted to 61 GWh, compared to 53 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 433 GWh, compared to 197 GWh last October.

In the same month, production of brown coal amounted to 349,731 tons, which is 2.9 % less compared to 2020 when the production stood at 360,302 tons. Lignite production in October 2021 amounted to 132,719 tons, while in October 2020 it amounted to 141,708 tons, a 6.3 % decrease.

Coke production in October 2021 totaled 84,007 tons, which is 21.9 % more than 68,901 tons produced in October 2020.
