Hungary, HUPX amounted to 197.16 euros/MWh in October

The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 197.16 euros/MWh in October 2021, which is 46 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 135.1 euros/MWh. Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to S 218.52 euros/MWh in October, 52 % higher compared to September peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.71 million MWh, which is 16 % more than in September (2.33 million MWh) and 27 % more than in October 2020 (2.13 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in October amounted to 87,575 MWh.

Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 268,946 MWh in October 2021, which is approximately the same compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 8,676 MWh.
