On 8 January 2021, at the day-ahead auction held for the delivery of electricity on 9 January, the total volume on the day-ahead market was recorded in the amount of 27,754 MWh. The highest hourly volume was traded for the 5th hour in the amount of 1,638 MWh with settlement price of 7.06 euros/MWh.
This represents the highest hourly traded volume on CROPEX day-ahead market since its launch in February 2016, and successful MRC market coupling in June 2018.
