The solar panels are installed on approximately 600 square meters of roof area on the auxiliary building at Zitnjak terminal. The new plant will produce about 110,000 kWh of electricity per year, thus providing some 10,000 euros in savings and reducing the CO2 footprint by 65 tons per annum. Namely, the new development strategy of the company will pay special attention to the identification of development projects, especially in the renewable energy sector, and possibly in other compatible and highly profitable high-tech industries, with the aim of generating higher revenues and creating new added value. Also, projects that can be financed from European funds will be considered, especially from the Innovation Fund, the EU Green Deal.
