Hungary: Traded electricity in June on HUPX

Average daily traded volume in June amounted to 67,587 MWh. The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 29.97 euros/MWh in June 2020, which is 27.03 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 23.59 euros/MWh. Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 31.8 euros/MWh in June, 35.04 % higher compared to May peak price. Traded volume in June reached 2.027 million MWh, which is 2.55 % less than in May (2.08 million MWh). The total value of transactions in June amounted to 60.38 million euros, which is 24.14 % higher than in the previous month (48.64 million euros).
