Slovenia: Petrol’s profit reached 95 million euros in the first nine months

Petrol group reported a net profit of 95 million euros in the first nine months of 2023, compared to a profit of 24 million euros in the same period last year.

In the same period, sales revenues dropped by 26% to 5.217 billion euros due to lower prices of petroleum products, reduced volume of electricity and natural gas trading and lower prices of electricity and natural gas on spot and futures markets.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased to 201.9 million euros in the first nine months of 2023 from 98.3 million euros in the same period in 2022.
