In October 2025, the Krsko nuclear power plant, jointly owned by Slovenia and Croatia, generated 29,621 MWh of net electricity, exceeding the planned monthly output of 24,000 MWh by 23.4 percent.
The plant remained offline for most of the month due to scheduled maintenance and was reconnected to the grid on 28 October. In the same month last year, Krsko produced 520,450 MWh of net electricity, 2.45 percent above the planned 508,000 MWh.
The facility operated fully in line with technical specifications, with all safety systems functioning properly. Both availability and capacity factors reached 100 percent, and no technical issues were reported.
